Episode 45

Anorexia, Recovery and Staying Well with Gracie Carpenter

Gracie Carpenter has a story to share. One day she’ll write her memoir but until then you can hear some of it on Love This Food Thing’s second double episode.

This is an excerpt from Gracie’s initial email:

“I grew up with alcoholic parents, eventually moving to the care of my grandparents. Shortly after my mother’s death by suicide, I fell rapidly and violently into the clutches of anorexia… the road to recovery has been a long one I have since lost my father, my best friend and most recently her father, who was like a second Dad to me.”

Some stories move me beyond words. This is one of them. Here is part two of Gracie’s story.
